Single Transitional
Housing at the Cloister
Opened in January 2009, Choices' newest program
provides transitional housing and support services in
a residential setting to single, homeless women
through housing provided by the Cloister.  In
additional to being homeless, clients in this program
have additional special needs, such as mental illness,
exposure to domestic violence, and chemical
dependency.

Beyond housing and support services, this program
offers its residents a unique opportunity for
developing a network of relationships, with the goal of
empowering the women to obtain and maintain a
healthy lifestyle and permanent housing.  Following
the completion of the program, follow-up services
continue for up to two years.
